A government resolution was adopted on additional measures to develop private entrepreneurship in the city of Namangan, Namangan region.

Information technologies (IT) are growing rapidly in Armenia. The country’s government announced IT as one of their priorities and recently decided to establish a Ministry of High Technologies. The Armenian government has also adopted laws according to which newly created IT startups will be granted tax privileges until 2020.

Latvia’s Sonarworks IT company has raised EUR 5 mln for development from Estonian investors Karma Ventures and SuperAngel, Lithuanian investors Practica Capital, Latvian investors ProksCapital and Imprimature, as well as Turkish investor Revo Capital.
