On March, 10th, the EBRD jointly with StrategEast and the Government of Tajikistan, presented the EBRD Transition Report 2021-22 “System upgrade: delivering the digital dividend.”

The report and its implications for Tajikistan were presented by Zoka Kocan, Senior Economist at the EBRD Office of the Chief Economist, and Eric Livny, Lead Regional Economist for Central Asia.

At the panel discussion Anatoly Motkin, President of StrategEast talked about the perspectives and benefits of digitalization for Tajikistan and Central Asia as a whole.

Welcome and opening remarks were delivered by Fayziddin Qahhorzoda, Minister of the Finance, Jamshed Karimzoda, First Deputy Minister of the Finance, EBRD Governor, and Rika Ishii, Head of EBRD Resident Office in Tajikistan.

Panel Discussion participants also included Azizjon Azimi, Founder and Chairman at TajRupt, and Sharaf Davlatov, Country Representative at Pharmaget.
