President of StrategEast Anatoly Motkin held a series of meetings with the ambassadors of the Central Asian countries in Washington – Javlon Vakhabov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the US and Canada, and Yerzhan Ashikbayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United States.

During the meetings, Mr. Motkin discussed the implementation of StrategEast’s strategy for the IT industry development in the Central Asian region – Global Minds Initiative.

In particular, the parties discussed the organization of new training centers for students from Central Asian countries, the possibility of launching startup acceleration programs, the launch of Catapult Ventures I, the first venture capital fund from Silicon Valley in the region, and the prospects for opening new American big tech companies in the region.
