On October 10 StrategEast founder and president Anatoly Motkin has held a discussion with the Centre of Eastern Studies (OSW) in Warsaw on digital transformation in Eurasian countries with special emphasis on Ukraine and Belarus.
It has been presented how the IT sector is fostering economic growth in the region and being a real mind changer, not only bringing new skills and foreign direct investments, but also laying the solid foundation for the civil society in those countries.
During the discussion there were also presented StrategEast reports “Changing Economy, Changing Society” and “Innovative Ukraine” on trends and prospects for innovative economy development in Eurasian and Baltic countries, as well as recommendations to policymakers on essential steps needed to transform the regional economies from natural resources oriented model to a knowledge-driven economy.
